Geoff Hurdle spent 34+ years building his name in land: acreage, development tracts, and the site work that turns raw ground into something buildable. Geoff Ramsey spent his career guiding Chattanooga families and investors through home purchases and sales. Both have years of experience in commercial and investment properties across the southeast region. Rather than one of them stretching into the other's territory, the two joined forces so each client gets the specialist who actually knows their side of the deal, and the other Geoff's perspective any time it helps.

Geoff Hurdle sells land to developers who do not have time to work with agents lacking real expertise in land development. Through his experience, he serves as a true concierge, helping land acquisition managers, private developers, and builders secure the information, approvals, and tangible support needed to get deals done.
A proud third-generation “Land Man,” Geoff has been a licensed agent since 1992. After college, he began his career in the family’s land development business, managing new developments and sales in Georgia and South Carolina. In 1996 he became a licensed broker and moved the home office to Loganville, Georgia. After 26 years, he moved it to Monroe, Georgia, where it still operates today. The practical experience gained from the family development business allows him to best serve other developers today. He went on to spend 25 years on the residential development side, working with local, regional, and national home builders across the Southeast, so there is very little about a residential development deal he has not already seen. He spent a decade in Nashville and is now based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to assist from Atlanta to Nashville and Knoxville. He is an asset to any land developer or real estate professional who wants to move land while maximizing its value.
Geoff earned the Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) designation in 2018. He served as President of the Tennessee Chapter of the REALTORS® Land Institute from 2018 to 2021, leading the chapter to Outstanding Chapter of the Year. He has served on the RLI National Board of Directors since 2021 and is the 2026 RLI National President. He also currently serves on the NAR Board of Directors, the NAR Commercial Committee, and the NAR Institute Advisory Committee.

Geoff lives in the East Brainerd area of Chattanooga with his wife, Marlie. They have three children and eight grandchildren.

Since 1993, Geoff Ramsey has been a licensed real estate broker and REALTOR® in Tennessee and Georgia. He holds the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designations, with extensive experience in new construction, residential resale, land development, and commercial real estate.
Geoff has long been committed to both his profession and the REALTOR® community. Greater Chattanooga REALTORS® named him the 2014 REALTOR® of the Year in recognition of his service to the Association and the community. From 2014 to 2016, he ranked among the top three RE/MAX agents in Tennessee.
Geoff was elected to the Greater Chattanooga REALTORS® Board of Directors in 2015, serving two years as a Director before becoming President-Elect in 2017 and President in 2018, followed by two additional years as a Director. His REALTOR® leadership has also extended to the state level, where he served as Tennessee REALTORS® Division Vice President for Region 3 (East Tennessee) from 2023 to 2024.
He currently serves on the Tennessee REALTORS® RPAC Trustees Committee and Budget & Finance Committee, as well as the Greater Chattanooga REALTORS® RPAC Trustees Committee. Over the years, Geoff has also served in numerous other leadership and committee roles at the local and state levels. He regularly participates in REALTOR® advocacy efforts, including REALTOR® Day on the Hill in Nashville and visits to Washington, D.C., supporting private property rights and issues important to homeowners and the real estate profession.
Community involvement has always been important to Geoff. He has supported numerous local sporting, charitable, and community organizations and events, including the Chattanooga Lookouts, Chattanooga Mocs, Chattanooga Football Club, CHI Memorial’s Pink Gala, the Medal of Honor Heritage Center, and the Creative Discovery Museum. A proud supporter of the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway since 2011, Geoff has also volunteered with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga Area and Snack Packs for Kids.
